Mary Anne Rishebarger visits with Sandra Lynn Macias
Guadalajara, Mexico – October 24, 2022
Students at Canadian Mexican School in Guadalajara were very fortunate to experience a visit from Mary Anne Rishebarger last week. She is from Baltimore, Maryland, USA and is the Program Director at the Monarch Sister Schools Program, which connects students from Mexico, the United States, and Canada to learn more about the importance of protecting the monarch butterfly. Through her work as a Rotarian, she has committed to work alongside our school librarian and Garden Club Coordinator, Mrs. Sandra Lynn Macias, to provide more native flowers in our monarch garden. We are very grateful for your support and friendship!
